Farm Equipment Operator King Ranch, Inc. Location: 15950 SW Kanner Hwy, Indiantown, FL 34956, US (On-site) Job Schedule: Full time Job Type: Regular (Non-Temporary) Organization: Turfgrass, King Ranch Enterprise Duties / Responsibilities Demonstrate ability to operate and attach/hook-up all farm/heavy equipment. Visually inspect equipment and vehicles operated each day and report items in need of repair. Perform various manual labor duties including filling sprayer tanks with water and chemicals according to formula. Operate field-type sprayer equipment from ATV presses lever, points nozzle and applies herbicide to selected area. Keep work areas and equipment clean. Perform all safety requirements as identified in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA). Assist in training new employees. Attend and participate in company safety programs. Ability to operate other equipment in the Functional area. Required Skills / Abilities Ability to work daily and extended hours as necessary. Ability to properly manage and handle pesticides, fertilizers, fuels, and lubricants. Ability to understand and comply with posted work rules and procedures. Ability to read and comprehend instructions. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
