Maintenance Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Maintenance team. Each day, you will conduct activities according to agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures. The work model for the role is: onsite This role is contributing to the Maintenance Team in the Hackettstown, NJ location. You will be mainly accountable for: Responding to building and grounds maintenance issues Performing basic electrical and plumbing maintenance Completing facility repairs such as replacing light fixtures, and maintaining exhaust fans Patching and painting as needed
Qualifications for the role
- You enjoy performing manual labor tasks
- You have 1-3 years of experience in facility and ground maintenance
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent
- You are at ease communicating in English
- You hold a current work authorization that would permit you to work for ABB in the US
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive operations and pull/push functions
- Ability to stand for 8 hours daily
- Comfortable bending, twisting, reaching
- Comfortable working with heavy equipment and in a non-climate controlled environment
