For over 40 years, we’ve been working alongside whānau to support their wellbeing and aspirations. About The Role Te Pae Oranga is a culturally grounded, restorative justice initiative that upholds the mana of all involved. The role requires you to walk alongside victims, participants, their whānau/support networks, NZ Police, and other community providers to facilitate meaningful outcomes. You’ll report to the Team Manager and work closely with the Te Pae Oranga Coordinator. This role suits someone who is empathetic, assertive, non‑judgmental, and able to connect with people from all walks of life. We’re Looking For Holds a Diploma in Social Work or relevant tertiary qualification or at least 2 years of relevant on‑the‑job experience in community‑based support, social or health promotion work. Has a current and valid full driver’s licence. Brings strong case management and facilitation skills. Is confident using Microsoft Office and client management systems. Supports tikanga, upholds cultural competency, and contributes to positive outcomes for Māori whānau. Communicates effectively and presents professionally. Has an understanding of restorative justice and/or the judicial system (advantageous). Why Join Us?
