The Export Manager will be responsible for planning and organizing export activities, from planning shipments to liaising with customs and regulatory bodies. This role is further responsible for managing international relationships, ensuring compliance with domestic and foreign regulations, contract negotiations, and assuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Managing import/export operations: Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and resolving any issues related to shipping or customs in a timely manner.
• Coordinating with stakeholders: Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Managing documentation: Overseeing import/export documentation, including customs declarations, bills of lading, and other shipping documents.
• Negotiating freight rates: Negotiating freight rates and contracts with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics providers.
• Monitoring activities: Monitoring and reporting on import/export activities, including shipment status and delivery performance.
• Building relationships: Developing and maintaining a network of suppliers, logistics providers, and other partners to support import/export operations.
• Budget Management: Managing import/export budgets and costs to optimize the efficiency and profitability of the activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or related field. (Equivalent experience or CLTD, CSCP Certification accepted).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in import/export operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
• In depth knowledge of international trade regulations, including customs procedures, tariffs, and trade agreements is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, including experience with vendor management.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Transportation Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, and other relevant software required.
• International travel may be required (5%)

The Anticipated Pay Range for This Position: $95,000-$115,000 annually.
