Our law firm is seeking an experienced and professional Legal Secretary to join our team. This part-time position requires working on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM with a half-hour lunch break.

Our ideal candidate is someone with previous experience in a legal office or a veteran secretary / receptionist looking for 3 days a week! This position does not offer benefits due to the part-time nature and the higher hourly pay.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with administrative and secretarial tasks.

  • Draft legal correspondence and documents.

  • Maintain client files and records.

  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.

  • Answer and direct incoming calls.

  • Perform short errands to the bank or post office as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous legal experience preferred.

  • Excellent computer skills.

  • Professional demeanor and appearance.

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
