About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead the planning, development, and implementation of a National Data and Technology Hub. The successful candidate will be a solution-focused, pragmatic, and mission-driven leader with a strong commitment to racial equity, diversity, and inclusion. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include acting as the principal evangelist for the innovative use of data and technology, overseeing the strategic vision of the Hub, and building and maintaining strong partnerships. The role demands a proactive, servant-leader capable of driving large-scale change through thoughtful partnerships and innovative solutions, and the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 to 15 years' experience in managing complex organizations or programs, with a strong background in data and technology. The Executive Director will be responsible for shaping the data and technology landscape, advancing continuous improvement, and fostering impactful collaborations across sectors. They must have a proven track record in managing organizational finances and staff, as well as in hiring, training, and building high-quality teams. The role requires an individual with high emotional intelligence, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse constituencies. Experience in philanthropy, public policy, or the nonprofit sector is a plus, and familiarity with the Tech/Data for Good ecosystem is strongly preferred. The position is remote, with the expectation of travel as necessary, and the candidate should be prepared to operate in a virtual role during the team-building phase.
