Stable company in Clearwater Florida is seeking a entry level Project Manager to join their team.

Contract to hire

Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm

Project Manager 1

• As a Project Manager 1, in this corporate setting, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution, management, and completion of projects under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager or Director. Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at meeting customer expectations while adhering to time and cost objectives.
• Engage in proactive communication with customers, offering effective solutions that enhance the value of our services.
• Serve as the primary executor of assigned projects, overseeing all aspects of their  implementation.
• Develop cost estimates and selling values for projects, and actively solicit bids from subcontractors and material suppliers. Issue, monitor, and process purchase orders to subcontractors, ensuring smooth project flow.
• Continuously monitor project progress and provide timely updates through status reports and forecasts, adapting to any changes as needed.
• Collaborate closely with Estimating, Engineering, Production, and Logistics teams to seamlessly execute projects.
• Familiarize yourself with customers' brand and implementation standards and integrate them into project execution.
• Actively participate in internal teams dedicated to enhancing business processes and driving continuous improvement.
• Work towards evolving into a Project Manager 2 through consistent growth and skill development.

Job Specifications for Project Manager 1:

• Education Requirement: Applicants should hold a minimum of a 4-year degree in business, engineering, construction, or architecture. Equivalent experience may also be considered.
• Experience: You should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced work environment, such as construction, manufacturing, or service environment, such as retail or restaurants.
• A background in construction is preferred, but not required. Strong customer service, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in the MS Office Suite is required, with specific experience in Excel or Access considered a valuable asset.
