Mid-to-Senior Level Entertainment Transactions Associate Attorney
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Direct Counsel is seeking a Mid-to-Senior Level Entertainment Transactions Associate Attorney to join an Am Law 100 firm with a premier Entertainment and Media Transactions practice in Century City.
This group represents a broad array of entertainment and media clients, including film and television studios, streaming platforms, independent production companies, financial institutions, and major talent. The ideal candidate will have experience and interest in handling a variety of sophisticated transactions within the entertainment industry.
Responsibilities include:
Advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, complex debt and equity financings, and other strategic content and licensing arrangements.
Working closely with entertainment and media entities on cutting-edge matters.
Collaborating with senior partners while mentoring junior associates.
Contributing to a collegial, fast-paced, and high-performing transactional practice.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
Admission to the California Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
3–7 years of relevant law firm experience in M&A, financing, and/or entertainment transactions.
Genuine passion for the entertainment and media space.
Compensation:
Annual base salary range of $310,000 – $435,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
