Job Summary The Dog Care Specialist I serves a critical role in ensuring all dogs at Sol Dog Lodge and Training Center are safe, happy, and loved. This position is responsible for providing hands-on care for dogs of all types and behaviors, including feeding, cleaning kennels, maintaining outdoor play and turnout areas and providing limited dog enrichment activities.
In addition to working directly with the dogs, the Dog Care Specialist I interacts with the public and clients, representing Sol Dog Lodge's mission to serve the needs of all dogs and the people who love them. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about animal care, with part-time shifts available during the day, evenings, and overnight.
Must be able to pass a 7 year background check. We also conduct pre-employment drug testing. Any job offer will be based on the results of background and drug testing. Sol Dog Lodge and Training Center
