Summary
This role will focus on developing and overseeing comprehensive communications strategies to promote ADT's products, services, and corporate culture. The successful candidate will demonstrate prior leadership of communications teams supporting strategy and execution. We expect the Director of Product Communications to foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and quality, while mentoring staff using a supporting, collaborative approach.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the development of all ADT product communications, including internal, external, and executive level communications.
* Lead cross-functional teams of product, marketing, sales, and customer service leaders, to ensure that product communications are consistent, aligned, and support business objectives.
* Partner closely with the Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer and the Head of Business Development/Strategic Partnerships to build a 360? communications plan to drive perception change and consideration.
* Manage media and agency relationships to enhance coverage of ADT's products, services, and partnerships.
* Translate complex data into compelling narratives and visualizations to inform decision-making and influence strategic initiatives.
* Partner with the corporate events and CSR teams to ensure key moments like CES, Google IO, and other industry events help drive positive visibility for the ADT brand.
* Direct the product communications function, including budgeting, planning, and staff development.
Team Development/Management:
* Align internal, external, and executive communications with ADT's goals and vision.
* Collaborate with the Marketing Leadership Team to support go-to-market initiatives.
* Design and periodically refresh communication plans based on business needs.
* Develop strategic plans to enhance brand visibility and stakeholder communication.
* Manage the product communications budget and align campaigns with strategic goals.
Requirements:
* 10 years of communications leadership experience in internal and external teams.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related.
* Strong analytical and creative skills in corporate and brand communications.

Location
* This is a hybrid role based out of our headquarters in Boca Raton, FL, reporting to the office three times a week.
