Job Summary and Qualifications The Director will work onsite at local hospitals within the West Florida Division, supporting brand promotion and growth initiatives. Reporting to the AVP of Strategic Communications and hospital CEOs, the role involves representing HCA Healthcare’s mission and strategic vision, engaging stakeholders, and executing communication and community engagement plans. Key responsibilities include: Communications Aligning enterprise and hospital brand narratives Supporting leadership with communication needs Developing and executing PR and communication strategies Creating content for media channels and managing media relations Handling crisis communications and monitoring hospital reviews Community Engagement Communicating community strategies to leadership Driving community engagement activities Supporting hospital board strategies Identifying healthcare-related community activities Coordinating events to raise awareness Supporting colleague community engagement initiatives Marketing Conveying marketing strategies to leadership Providing insights for marketing plans Managing local brand activities Partnering on marketing tactics and content creation Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 1+ year in management 5+ years in related roles HCA Healthcare is recognized as a top ethical company and invests significantly in charitable care and community support.
