Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP) Location: Portland, OR
Job Type: Full-Time; Tuesday/Wednesday 7:30a-3:30p & Thursday/Friday 7:30a-6:30p
Salary: $21-$22 per hour, plus a $1,000 hiring bonus.

Job Overview: As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Your responsibilities will include supporting daily living activities, encouraging skill development, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct care and support to individuals with IDD in a community setting, helping with daily activities and fostering independence.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Encourage and support the development of life skills, social skills, and community involvement.
- Monitor and document the progress of individuals, including behavior and health changes.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Build positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other team members.
Qualifications: - Must be 18 years or older and passionate about making a difference.
- Hold a valid driver’s license and be eligible to become a company driver.
- Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Possess basic skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and computer usage.
- Successfully pass a level II background check.
- Demonstrate adaptability and a positive attitude to excel in a dynamic environment.
