Working from our Corporate Office in Indianapolis, we are seeking a highly motivated Development Intern to join our 2025 Summer Internship Program. KRG is a fast-paced environment and provides hands-on experience to develop skills needed to succeed in the real estate operations and development industry and the specific function relating to the internship. Development works closely with the internal team of Leasing, Construction, Asset Management, Finance and Legal. Our team also works extensively with outside consultants from the architectural, and engineering fields as well as municipalities / agencies Interns will assist with a wide range of duties and will have the opportunity to interface with various business departments. The responsibilities for the Development Intern will include, but no be limited to the following:

  • Site analysis, assessment, and due diligence
  • Site planning & design, infrastructure planning and design support
  • Technical documentation and compliance
  • Project coordination and communication
  • Engineering analysis and cost estimation
  • Internal reporting
  • Adhoc project assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Majors - Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Engineering, Business and Finance are helpful.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word and Project.
  • Proficiency in online research and project coordination software.
  • Proficiency in engineering software, such as AutoCAD, and other design or modeling tools preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and high attention to detail
