Schedule:

• Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• 1- 2 Saturdays/month: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

About the Role

Northwestern Dental Center is seeking a skilled and reliable Part-Time Dental Assistant to support our new DDS and expanding patient needs. This is a great opportunity to join a patient-centered, team-oriented practice in the heart of downtown Chicago.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the general dentist with restorative procedures, including:
• Fillings
• Crowns
• Bridges
• Take high-quality digital X-rays
• Perform impressions and intraoral 3D scanning
• Prepare and set up operatories for procedures
• Maintain proper sterilization protocols for instruments and equipment
• Provide excellent, compassionate patient care
• Support overall clinical workflow as needed

Desired Skills & Qualifications

Experience with:

• Digital X-rays
• Impressions
• Intraoral 3D scanning
• Restorative assisting (fillings, crowns, bridges)
• Sterilization and operatory setup
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional, patient-focused communication
• Dental Assistant training or certification preferred
• Illinois X-ray certification is a plus
