Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate delivery vehicles efficiently. You will use our delivery vehicle. This is not a contract position, you will be a member for the Chick-fil-A team and will be expected to uphold our high standards of presentation, service, and care.

The ideal candidate must be able to execute Chick-fil-A hospitality with our guests in a caring way. Clear and excellent communication skills via our delivery app are paramount to help us continue to meet our guest's expectations outside of the restaurant.

Shift:
4 hour shift

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products using appropriate equipment, ensuring all items are secured for transport.
• Follow assigned routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with guests during deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, mileage, and any issues encountered during transit.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Assist in restaurant duties as needed, including front of house stocking and cleaning and preparing items for shipment.
  Requirements
• Minimum age - 21 years old
• Must have a valid State-Issued Driver’s License
• Must own reliable transportation that is CLEAN (Car Insurance a MUST!)
• Clean driving record for the past 2 years
• Reliable communication (must be a smart phone to download delivery app)
• Experience in commercial driving or route driving preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the day.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Familiarity with delivery processes and equipment is a plus.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier is advantageous but not required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including lunch and dinner rushes if necessary.
• Work as an team member when there are no deliveries
