Overview The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online Creative Writing tutors nationally. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home. Responsibilities Tutor online via the Live Learning Platform, delivering personalized instruction to students. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Use the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features. Invoice for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments and logistics. Compensation Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects; up to $40/hour with the same student over time. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct. What We Look For In a Tutor Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in Creative Writing and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Preference for those with tutoring/teaching experience and graduate-level education. Ways To Connect With Students 1-on-1 Online Tutoring – provide personalized instruction to individual students.
