You will have solid experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and overseeing IP and Data Protection in the Americas. Job Responsibilities include: Acting as the US legal resource for SHL products and services, providing high-quality, pragmatic advice to the commercial teams. Reviewing and negotiating Terms & Conditions, MSAs, SaaS Agreements, RFPs, and other agreements. Handling Data Protection contractual negotiations and compliance projects. Ensuring legal compliance with US state and federal laws, including IP infringement, litigation, and bankruptcy matters. Providing legal training and guidance to team members. Participating in ad hoc legal projects as needed. Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school and member of the US bar. Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years in-house. Strong understanding of contract and commercial law, with excellent drafting and negotiation skills. Ability to operate in a matrixed organization and communicate effectively across levels. Preferred Skills: Legal negotiation and drafting skills.
