Partnering with Aquent, you’ll join a leading performance footwear company, making a visible impact on their seasonal color palettes and design direction. As a key collaborator with the internal color team, your insights will influence collections seen by athletes and enthusiasts worldwide. This is your chance to make a mark on a globally recognized brand. As a Color Design Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of upcoming footwear collections. Collaborating closely with the internal color team, you’ll dive into trend research, conceptualize captivating color stories, and refine seasonal palettes that resonate with target consumers. Your expertise will ensure brand consistency and a cohesive design language across all product lines. This role is perfect for someone passionate about color, design, and its impact on consumer behavior. Responsibilities: Research and analyze current and emerging color, material, and design trends. Collaborate with the internal color team to develop innovative color story concepts. Create mood boards, color swatches, and presentations to communicate concepts. Develop seasonal color palettes that align with brand identity and market trends. Refine color selections based on stakeholder feedback and market research. Organize and streamline vectorized line art and design files. Create and maintain detailed color specification sheets with precise color codes and material specifications. Provide color design assistance to designers and developers throughout the product development lifecycle. Offer creative input and problem-solving expertise to achieve desired aesthetic outcomes. Must-Have Qualifications: Proven experience in color trend research and analysis. Strong understanding of color theory, psychology, and application in design. Proficiency in creating mood boards, color palettes, and visual presentations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Highly organized and detail-oriented. The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45 to $50 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
