Job Description

Our client, a growing high-tech metal fabrication contract manufacturer, is seeking a CNC Vertical Mill Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to make decisions, and a safety-conscious mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Vertical Mill Machinist

Location: Hanover, PA
Shift: 2nd shift
Pay range: $17 to $25 an hour
15% shift differiential

What's the Job?

• Receive work instructions, prints, and routers for the job.
• Utilize measuring devices such as protractors, calipers, and micrometers to check and verify accuracy of work.
• Set up punch press tooling and program the operation of a CNC punch press.
• Read part drawings and understand tolerance requirements.
• Perform daily maintenance of machines and tooling as required.

What's Needed?

• 1 year or more of CNC vertical mill operations or relatable experience.
• Ability to utilize common measurement devices and read blueprints.
• Knowledge of cnc operations and material limitations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Safety and quality conscious mindset.
