Job Summary:
Belcan is seeking a high-impact Strategic Engagement Leader. This role is ideal for a seasoned aerospace professional with 20+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or engineering leadership - especially those with deep familiarity and relationships within GE Aviation.
You"ll serve as a trusted advisor, technical SME, and the primary face of Belcan in driving the launch, execution, and sustainability of key Manufacturing & Supply Chain service line projects. Your expertise will help shape strategy, lead execution, and unlock long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution & Technical Leadership
- Launch new projects with clear execution strategies and measurable KPIs.
- Define and align deliverables with customer goals and Belcan business objectives.
- Act as the technical subject matter expert (SME) across programs, guiding teams on the ground.
- Ensure visibility, accountability, and improvement through regular reporting.
- Coordinate staffing, onboarding, and sustainable handoff to long-term support teams.
Customer Engagement & Business Development
- Serve as the senior liaison between Belcan and GE Aviation, developing and maintaining key relationships.
- Leverage existing connections to identify opportunities and influence account growth.
- Represent Belcan in meetings, reviews, and strategic planning discussions.
- Proactively address customer needs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Team Development & Operational Excellence
- Mentor engineers and project leads on aerospace manufacturing best practices.
- Establish strong internal processes for reporting, communication, and knowledge transfer.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, customer, and regulatory standards.
- Support leadership in resource planning and team performance evaluations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 20+ years in aerospace manufacturing, supply chain, or engineering leadership roles - preferably including direct experience with or support of GE Aviation.
- Proven record of engaging stakeholders, leading technical initiatives, and driving business growth.
- Strong familiarity with GE Aviation"s structure, culture, and operating environment.
- Bachelor"s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or Manufacturing preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent communication, executive presence, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, primarily to support GE projects and onsite engagements.
