Position Overview:
Join the Walmart dedicated grocery account out of Johnstown, NY ! This is a slip-seat position operating 5–6 days per week, offering home-daily routes and consistent freight year-round. Drivers haul no-touch, live unload freight between Walmart distribution centers and retail locations across Johnstown, Albany, and surrounding areas . Both experienced drivers and recent trainees are encouraged to apply.
Schedule & Home Time:
Drivers work day or night shifts , with weekend and holiday work required to support Walmart’s 24/7 operations. You’ll enjoy daily home time and steady miles averaging around 2,000 per week . This position is ideal for drivers looking for a stable routine , reliable pay, and local/regional consistency without being over the road.
Pay & Compensation:
Average Weekly Pay: $1,600+
Mileage + Stop Pay structure
– $25 for loads under 50 miles
– $10 for first stop, $15 per additional stop
No-touch freight
Slip-seat operation (shared equipment)
No transition or sign-on bonus
Requirements:
CDL-A License (Trainees accepted)
Must live within 65 miles of Johnstown, NY (12095)
Willing to work weekends and holidays
Reliable transportation to and from the DC
