Chemical Operator

$20.00/Hour

12 Hour, Rotating/Swing Shift

8AM-8PM, 8PM-8AM

Franklinton, NC

As a Chemical Operator, you will function as a key team member in finding biological solutions to the world's problems.

We are seeking detail-oriented team players for full-time Chemical Operator openings at a leading biotech manufacturing company in Franklinton, NC

This position requires the willingness and ability to work a 12-hour rotating/swing shift.

Pay will be $20.00\Hour.

Job Duties:

• Prepare raw materials for process equipment and operate all process equipment.
• Take sterile production samples. Analyze samples in the production lab and take action based on obtained results.
• Complete log sheets and other data sheets neatly and accurately, as required. Notify the Supervisor of all errors, irregularities, equipment problems, etc.
• Work safely and maintain a neat and clean appearance in the production area in accordance with good manufacturing practice with the company.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED required. Prior Bio-tech classes with a local community college a plus
• Must be able to pass a background test, drug screen and pre-employment physical.
• Must be able to operate process equipment.
• Must have great attention to detail and an excellent safety record.
• Must be able to lift raw materials in bags weighing 40 pounds.
• Must be able to operate forklift within department safely and complete forklift training within the first 30 days.
• Production operators must not have facial hair which impedes their ability to
  adequately use respiratory equipment.
