Position Overview: As a Tax Preparer, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals and businesses navigate their tax obligations. You will prepare and file federal and state tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file individual and business tax returns accurately and efficiently.
• Review financial records and documents to ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Assist clients in understanding their tax situations and provide guidance on tax planning strategies.
• Stay updated on tax regulations and changes to ensure accurate filings.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of client information.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a tax preparer or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of tax preparation software (e.g., Intuit ProConnect, Drake Tax).
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Certification as a CPA or Enrolled Agent is a plus, but not required.
