Job Description Salary: $75,000 - $85,000/year ATI is seeking a highly motivated, qualified, and experienced full-time Building Inspector for a position located in Washington, DC. Duties of a Building Inspector: Perform inspections for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and infrastructure damage such as stained ceiling tiles, stained carpet, life safety issues, leaking flush valves, cracked windows, etc.; Enter data into a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as MAXIMO, including service calls and requests for work authorizations to dispatch technicians responsible for maintaining the facility; Perform preventative maintenance inspections on building equipment following the instructions in the CMMS; Inspect for functionality and operational condition of the building and assess impacts to various building systems; Enter service call tickets into the CMMS for any discrepancies/issues noted during inspections; This role involves working in secure environments in support of mission-critical operations. Required Qualifications: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain clearance; candidate must be able to work independently in a secure or sensitive environment; Minimum of five (5) years of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment maintenance, repair, and/or inspection experience; Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; Vocational training and/or skilled trade certification is a plus; Proficiency using MS Office (including Word and Excel) and experience with CMMS, preferably MAXIMO; Effective communication skills (written and verbal), personal initiative, interpersonal skills, and a high regard for safety.
