Under general direction of the Budget Manager (Staff Services Manager I), the Associate Budget Analyst (ABA) will perform more technical and complex budget office work.  As part of the Department of Consumer Affairs’ overall budget and fiscal administrative responsibilities, the Associate Budget Analyst will independently perform the duties assigned.

Under the supervision of the Budget Manager (Staff Services Manager (SSM) I), the Staff Services Analyst (SSA) is responsible for the less technical and complex budget office work.

  1. Describe how your education and work experience qualify you for this position. Provide specific examples demonstrating your skills and knowledge in fiscal analysis, budget development, and expenditure forecasting.

  2. This position requires the ability to research and analyze information. Please describe two specific examples that demonstrate your knowledge and experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting.

  3. Describe your experience working on multiple assignments with overlapping deadlines. What were the challenges you encountered and how did you address them?
