We are looking for a talented Painter's Helper/Buffer to become part of our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in body shop paint correction and surface prepping, with an emphasis on finishing work. This role is vital for ensuring surfaces are properly prepared for painting and finishing processes, directly impacting the quality of our results. The Buffer will collaborate closely with the paint department and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.

Responsibilities

• Sand, grind, and polish surfaces to achieve a smooth, polished finish.
• Safely and efficiently operate buffer machines and related equipment.
• Assist in vehicle paint restoration tasks.
• Work alongside team members on paint applications, ensuring top-quality results.
• Keep the work area clean and organized, consistently following safety procedures.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in surface prepping and buffing; paint correction experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of vehicle painting techniques is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of Body Shop repair procedures.
• Skilled in restoring surfaces while paying close attention to detail.
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a eagerness to learn new techniques.
