Job Description

A Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year within a K-12 educational setting in Salinas, CA. This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in behavior analysis across multiple school sites, supporting students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify behavioral challenges.
  • Develop and update individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Provide consultative support and training to school staff on behavior strategies.
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
  • Supervise and assign tasks to Registered Behavior Technicians in delivering behavior services.
  • Manage caseload across 3-4 schools, working with students ranging from ages 3 to 22.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
  • Experience working within school environments preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to oversee and coordinate treatment plans with Behavior Technicians.
  • Knowledge of special education regulations and procedures related to behavior support.

Schedule and Location:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • Contract duration: August 20, 2025 June 12, 2026
  • Work conducted across multiple school sites in Salinas, California
