Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients and their families.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
• Implement behavioral therapy techniques to promote positive behavior changes.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations to track progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and medical professionals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care and progress.
• Provide training and support to staff and caregivers in implementing behavior intervention strategies.
• Advocate for clients by educating families about available resources and support services.

Experience

• Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is essential.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health is preferred.
• Strong skills in patient assessment and the ability to analyze behavioral data effectively.
• Proficiency in applied behavior analysis techniques and methodologies.
• Experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations and developing effective treatment plans.
• Knowledge of patient care standards and best practices in behavioral therapy.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independent initiative.
