Job Description
We are recruiting for an established non-profit firm in Manhattan. The ideal candidate must be Bilingual (fluent Spanish), have a valid Notary certification and possess strong MS Office/technical experience.
This role would begin at their site in Manhattan, person must be able to transition with the company to their new offices in Yonkers, NY by the end of the spring.
Responsibilities would include:
• Processing marriage cases, assisting with scheduling/correspondence, preparing/tracking letter & decrees
• Perform as a Notary for all formal testimonies taken and transcribe/type testimonies when necessary
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and professionalism of all materials produced
• Answer phones and interact with clients, staff and senior individuals
Requirements:
• Bilingual English/Spanish (read, write, speak) required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to transcribe recorded testimony, or willingness to learn
• Flexibility and willingness to assist others in the office
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
