We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Bar Manager to lead operations at our upscale, high-class establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of proven experience managing a premium cocktail bar or fine dining beverage program, with an exceptional background in mixology, cocktail creation, and bar operations management.]

This role requires an individual who embodies refined professionalism, strong leadership, and unwavering attention to detail. The Bar Manager will be responsible for maintaining the venue’s elite standards, overseeing bar staff performance, and ensuring that all guest interactions reflect sophistication, precision, and impeccable service.

This is not a casual bar environment — we operate with the highest level of formality and expectation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all bar operations in alignment with the venue’s luxury standards.
• Lead, train, and discipline bar staff to ensure uniform compliance, professionalism, and adherence to brand image.
• Develop and maintain signature cocktail menus that reflect creativity, elegance, and consistency with the establishment’s identity.
• Maintain strict compliance with all health, safety, and service regulations (including TIPS and ServSafe).
• Control inventory, order supplies, and manage cost efficiency without compromising quality.
• Foster a culture of professionalism, precision, and respect across the entire beverage team.
• Ensure all customer interactions remain poised, courteous, and strictly professional — no informal or personal interactions.
• Collaborate with ownership and upper management on performance goals, sales targets, and operational strategy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing a high-end, upscale bar or cocktail lounge.
• Advanced mixology and cocktail creation background — creativity balanced with refinement.
• TIPS Certification and ServSafe Certification required.
• Must have reliable transportation and open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on professionalism and discipline.
• Exceptional attention to detail in presentation, cleanliness, and staff appearance.
• Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining composure and polish.
• Experience with bar management software, POS systems, and standard office applications.

Expectations

This position requires consistent professionalism, punctuality, and adherence to high standards of dress and conduct. Uniforms will be strictly enforced for both management and staff. The Bar Manager is directly responsible for ensuring all employees maintain these standards at all times.
