Automation and Controls Engineer - ABB Infi 90 We are seeking a dedicated Automation and Controls Engineer with specialized experience in ABB Infi 90 to join our dynamic team. Salary: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Install, program, and maintain Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems.
- Carry out the configuration, installation, and commissioning of ABB's Infi 90 systems.
- Maintain continuous operation and upgrading of all assigned systems, ensuring optimum performance.
- Handle troubleshooting, diagnostic, and corrective actions of complex technical issues.
- Provide customer support and manage relationships through detailed technical advice and high-quality service.
- Travel extensively to customer sites across the United States to perform onsite adjustments and updates.
Minimum Position Qualifications: - 4+ years of experience with ABB's Infi 90 systems.
- Profound knowledge in computer, server, and networking configurations.
- Strong understanding of basic industrial instrumentation and its applications.
- Ability to provide emergency support, which might include after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: - Prior role in a full-time automation and controls engineering position.
- Field experience with modern DCS and PLC systems beyond ABB's Infi 90.
- Background in instrumentation and/or engineering specifically related to automated controls.
