Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to lead our guest services department and ensure the delivery of exceptional hospitality experiences. Key Responsibilities - Maintain high standards of quality guest service across all hotel departments
- Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses, maximizing profitability related to guest services
- Develop and implement short- and long-term financial and operational plans aligned with the hotel’s overall objectives
- Facilitate regular department meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration among all hotel departments
- Participate in the preparation and management of the annual hotel budget
- Enhance guest satisfaction levels to surpass brand standards and company averages through employee development and service excellence
- Oversee all hotel operations, including guest satisfaction, breakfast service, front desk, and other guest-facing areas
- Monitor and improve operational procedures to ensure efficiency and quality
- Lead and motivate staff to deliver outstanding service and uphold hotel standards
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to ensure a positive experience
Skills And Qualifications - Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, financial management, and guest service standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
- Knowledge of hotel management software and MS Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Requirements - Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.
- Must have exceptional mathematical and computer skills.
- High school education and relevant training and experience required. Additional education preferred.
- Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates.
- CPR training required; first aid training preferred.
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
- Ability to assist with the design and preparation of statistical reports and presentations as needed.
- Ability to accurately report information.
- Ability to assist with various accounting department tasks as needed.
- Ability to scrupulously follow all Stepstone and hotel policies and procedures.
- Attend required meetings.
