Pay Range: $30 - $35/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• System Design: Design and develop electrical distribution systems for overhead electric distribution projects.
• Project Documentation: Prepare construction plans, work orders, and material lists for projects.
• Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, project managers, contractors, customers, and other departments to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Technical Skills: Utilize Computer-Aided Drafting and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software for design and data management.
• Compliance: Create designs that adhere to necessary codes, standards, and regulations.
• Customer Interaction: Act as a point of contact for customers to determine requirements, discuss facility layouts, and provide support.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Skills- Experience with creating plans and design for electrical distribution systems, prepare construction plans, design review and calculation.
• Software Skills : AutoCAD & GIS.
• HS + CAD cert + min 6 yrs relevant experience. OR Associates + min 5 yrs relevant experience. OR Bachelors + min 4 yrs relevant experience.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with CAD/GIS software and familiarity with design and analysis software for distribution systems.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and regulators.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues in power distribution systems to ensure safety and reliability.
