Production Supervisor
Your role and responsibilities
Summary: Assembles and/or fabricates parts to create relatively small or light fuse assemblies. Follows steps and checks quality of parts made within stated specifications for all work performed. Assemblers are trained on multiple job assignments and workstations to complete work. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Assembles parts per MOIs and assures quality of parts made 2. Tests, calibrates, and fits parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. 3. Uses hands and some small hand tools to assemble 4. Reads and interprets technical diagrams/drawings/instructions for assembly of products 5. Must meet or exceed company requirements for safety. 6. Must complete all required mandatory Safety, OSHA, and ISO 9001 training 7. Reads work instructions to determine job specifications, adjustments, and material requirements. 8. Learns to follow quality plans, read and apply work instructions, and blueprints to determine job specifications and material requirements. 9. Learns to measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation using dial calipers, snap gauges or micrometers. 10. Stacks, marks, packs, and transports finished work pieces. 11. Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications for the role
- High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing experience not required but desirable.
- Physical Requirements:
- Must have ability to stand throughout work shift if assigned to a station which requires standing. Must have sufficient hand/arm strength to handle fuses weighing as much as 15 pounds.
