Job Description

An Austin-based event production company is looking for an Event Design Specialist versed in 3D renderings and photo realistic design to join their team.

This is a freelance, remote opportunity supporting the client on a project to project bases.

The ideal Event Design Specialist will be responsible for supporting the sales team by designing event technology concepts and creating high-quality renderings based on their knowledge of sound, lighting, video, rigging, and internet.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create high-quality, photo realistic 3D renderings and mock-ups using VectorWorks
• Collaborate with the sales team to create rendering for clients
• Assist in selecting the appropriate equipment for each event, considering factors such as venue size, audience, and technical requirements
• Present technology concepts and renderings to key stakeholders and clients
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 10 years of event production experience and a focus in 3D design and event technology
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Technical understanding and experience in audio system design and theory, throw ratios, cameras, projection & LED
• Expert level experience in VectorWorks, Capture or other related 3D event software
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
• Bachelors degree in Event Management, Technical Theater, Audio-Visual Technology, or a related field preferred
