The Opportunity: Coordinates the appraisal functions and maintains the internal/external pipeline on behalf of the JMAC appraisal department. Responsible for placing appraisal orders with approved AMC and fee panel, reviewing appraisal reports in accordance with JMAC's, FHA's, investor's, and USPAP guidelines upon receipt. Supports sales teams and operations with appraisal issues, negotiates turn times with appraisers and vendors, and guarantees quality reports completed by appraisers. This is a Full-Time opportunity offering competitive pay ranging from $23-$25 per hour. Key Responsibilities: Validate appraisal order form and fees Manage appraisal mailbox and calls regarding order assignments to ensure efficiency Request appraisal revisions and rebuttals as needed Review completed appraisal changes Charge and/or refund credit cards through Authorize.net and record in LOS system Order field reviews for QC and VA appraisals Validate compliance prior to appraisal charge Upload invoices and appraisal reports to LOS system Handle appraisal fee increases and upload electronic delivery receipts Mail unconfirmed appraisals and upload mail letters Manage appraisal transfers and troubleshoot client logins Train clients on Mercury platform usage Resolve appraisal issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction Requirements: 3-4 years of experience in an appraisal role or recent mortgage operations background Familiarity with JMAC, FHA, investor standards, and USPAP guidelines Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work independently Team-oriented with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in data entry, communication skills, and professional demeanor Benefits: Health, Dental & Vision insurance Life insurance options Paid time off and holidays 401(k) retirement plan Disability coverage and family leave benefits Wellness resources JMAC Lending, Inc. is an Equal Employment Employer committed to diversity.
