We are currently seeking multiple Maintenance Technicians to join our team in the Frisco - McKinney area. Our clients are looking for motivated, hands-on individuals with a keen eye for detail to maintain and enhance beautiful apartment communities. What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate is experienced in general maintenance, highly organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceptional resident service are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the property.
Track inventory and order necessary supplies, replacement parts, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
Perform preventive maintenance and address safety concerns immediately.
Troubleshoot and complete service repairs in a timely manner.
Power wash hallways, breezeways, entries, and parking areas.
Respond promptly to resident service requests.
Handle general plumbing and electrical tasks, including toilet repairs, fixture replacements, and garbage disposal maintenance.
Install, repair, or replace door jambs, window frames, and locks.
Assist with apartment turnovers, including trash removal, caulking, appliance checks, and smoke detector maintenance.
Perform touch-up painting as needed.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Keep common areas clean and organized, including pools, lounge spaces, and walkways.
Support the Maintenance Supervisor with additional tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of one year of related maintenance experience.
Proficient in using hand and power tools.
Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, drywall/painting, carpentry, tile work, and appliance installation/repair.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact with residents, coworkers, and vendors.
Education & Technical Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Some college coursework or technical training preferred.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
Frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds as needed.
Work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
Must have appropriate clothing and gear for different job duties.
Additional Requirements
Valid driver's license or state-issued ID.
Reliable transportation.
Personal hand and power tools.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
