Job Description

The role: The Analyst, EDI Interface, is responsible for day-to-day operations for the Board's benefit eligibility interface files with our benefit partners. The Analyst, EDI Interface, will provide requirements and test the requested changes. What you will do: Provides functional requirements to developers to implement the changes to EDI ANSI 834 and proprietary file format, including group structure changes. Reviews and approves technical specifications documents from developers. Conducts thorough user acceptance testing of the requested changes, including regression testing. Coordinates with the Board's eligibility benefit partners and developers to resolve problems. Supports new enrollments, changes, terminations, and annual enrollment benefit changes for interface files. Provides Tier 2 support to Plan Operations team for member inquiries regarding enrollment data. Supports Affordable Care Act year end reporting, include providing requirements and testing changes. What you need to succeed in the role: Minimum of 8 to 10 years of work experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience with benefits administration. Experience with EDI ANSI 834 file layout is required. Experience with using benefits administration software. Strong testing methodology. Excellent problem solving, analytic, and system literacy skills and a strong ability to review, analyze and make necessary and informed recommendations. Able to work with multiple stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization - internal and external - to collaborate to solve issues. Strong, concise writing abilities to thoroughly document solutions. Attention to detail is a critical skill. Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects with a sense of urgency.
