Job Title: Aluminum/Steel Welder

Location: Chester,PA

Salary/Rate: $18-24

Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques and materials- Perform welding and fitting tasks using various methods such as FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and stick welding- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to fabricate and assemble metal components- Measure and inspect completed workpieces using precision instruments such as micrometers- Ensure the quality and accuracy of welds by conducting visual inspections and performing necessary repairs or modifications- Collaborate with team members to plan and prioritize work orders- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:- Proven experience as a welder/fitter or similar role- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, including FCAW and stick welding- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment- Ability to solder, weld, and fabricate sheet metal components- Experience working with ductwork is highly desirable- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
