Role Overview

The Administrative Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily administrative functions of the flower shop, ensuring order accuracy, coordinating operations, advocating for customer satisfaction, managing HR processes, completing bookkeeping tasks, maintaining the shop’s website, coordinating weddings & events, and driving other business development initiatives forward. 

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining a 0% error rate for all orders processed in our floral Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
• Coordinating daily operations across all departments throughout the production process.
• Training and delegating tasks to sales & customer service employees
• Accountable for managing and maintaining weekly scheduling processes
• Performing bookkeeping tasks to ensure transactions across systems are accurate
• Assisting with website and merchandising tasks to optimize customer experience
• Working with management on special projects to drive business efficiency
• Responding to and resolving customer issues

Job Requirements

• Capable of working in fast-paced working environment
• World-class communication skills - verbal, written - with a pleasant personality
• Capable of working 8:00am - 5:00pm shifts when scheduled
• Advanced problem solving skills
• Be able to put together wrapped arrangements for specials/general loose flower products
• High standard for exceptional customer service
• Positive approach to your work and interaction with customers and fellow team members
• Proficient at typing and spelling
• Comfortable with working on a computer and answering phones

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays. Compensation is $11.00 - $15.00/hour.
