Discord is looking for an Administrative Business Partner to support leadership within our EPAD (Engineering, Product, Analytics/Data, and Design) organization. In this role, you'll be the operational backbone that keeps complex leadership workflows running smoothly-bringing order to chaos and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. What You'll Be Doing - Act as a trusted business partner , quickly adapting to the needs of different leaders and teams.
- Support leadership with daily administrative and operational tasks , ensuring smooth workflows.
- Manage complex calendars , resolving conflicts and optimizing time allocation across internal and external commitments
- Coordinate internal projects and events , following up to ensure completion and acting as a liaison between leadership and their teams.
- Schedule and attend meetings , capturing clear notes, tracking action items, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Arrange domestic and international travel , including flights, lodging, transportation, and documentation.
- Aggregate and submit expense reports in a timely manner. If needed, submit and maintain procurement requests using Oracle.
- Collaborate closely with other administrative professionals to maintain alignment and efficiency across the organization.
What you should have - 2+ year(s) work experience in an administrative support role
- Highly proficient in G-Suite, notably GCal and GMail
- Experience and comfort with tools like Discord, Notion, Claude, Ramp, Oracle
- You are a highly motivated, organized individual with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate with all levels of leadership and external partners
- High adaptability working with diverse leadership styles and personalities in a hybrid environment
- Strong operational instincts to anticipate needs, spot issues early, and handle multiple assignments
- Sound judgment on discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information
- Self-awareness about your capacity and ability to communicate bandwidth limits proactively
- Genuine curiosity about the business and desire to add strategic value beyond task execution
Bonus Points: - Prior experience working in a hyper-growth environment
- Prior experience working in a gaming company
- Prior experience supporting VP+ roles with a technical scope
San Francisco Bay Area: Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties). Relocation assistance may be available.
Office Guidance: We expect our ABPs to reliably come into the office as needed for their exec's needs, notably for events.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $108,000 to $121,500 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, or benefits.
