JOIN OUR TEAM AS AN ACTUARIAL ANALYST!
As an Actuarial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting Orion180’s continued growth and success by contributing to the pricing, reserving, and analytical foundations of our insurance products. You will collaborate across teams, including Claims, Finance, and Sales to develop insights that influence strategic decisions and ensure financial soundness. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Education:
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field required.
Industry Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of actuarial work experience in Property & Casualty insurance required; reserving experience strongly preferred.
• Experience communicating technical analyses to non-technical audiences both verbally and in writing.
Technical Proficiency:
• Strong Excel skills required.
• Proficiency with SQL; familiarity with R or Python is a plus.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to make data-driven decisions with limited historical data.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with a proven ability to handle multiple priorities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing general office duties, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk (including the use of stairs). Other demands include the ability to openly communicate with others by talking, listening, and reading, lift light objects (less than 25 lbs), and use standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones. Occasional bending, twisting, or reaching may be required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The office environment is fast-paced and collaborative. Employees must be able to work their regularly assigned schedule and, when needed, extended hours depending on departmental or project needs.
