Position: Accounting Finance Transformation Lead
Location: San Jose, CA
Pay Rate: $50–$54 per hour
Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)
Work Schedule: Hybrid (Onsite Monday, Wednesday, Thursday; Remote Tuesday and Friday)
Overview:
Jefferson Wells is seeking an experienced Accounting professional to lead finance transformation initiatives, with a primary focus on Oracle Fusion ERP implementation and system automation projects. This role will serve as the accounting lead, managing cross-functional collaboration between business units and IT, and driving process improvements across financial operations. Proven track record in financial accounting software of ERP implementation and strong financial systems expertise.

• Lead and manage Oracle ERP implementation tracks from initiation through completion
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date project documentation
• Define and support testing, training, cut-over, and contingency planning
• Identify and mitigate project risks; support change management initiatives
• Evaluate and improve existing accounting processes and workflows
• Coordinate with global finance teams to harmonize operational accounting practices
• Support post-implementation activities including training and issue resolution
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and assist in developing internal controls

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial and accounting operations
• Proven track record in ERP implementations, particularly Oracle and SAP experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and SEC/financial reporting requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience with end-to-end financial processes including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, fixed assets, and general ledger
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPivot
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities

• Hourly rate of $50 to $54 an hour with Direct Deposit
• Full-time, 6-month contract with potential to perm hire with full Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K Benefits as a W-2 employee
