Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate CNC equipment as necessary to produce the required number of conforming parts in a timely manner according to process documentation. This will include operating multiple pieces of CNC equipment simultaneously.
• Perform first piece, in-process and last piece inspection using micrometers, calipers, comparators, various gauges and CMM equipment according to process documentation.
• Perform data collection and communication tasks as directed in our eOVL.
• Perform operator maintenance (TPM).
• Perform deburr or rework of work in-process.
• Make recommendations to optimize and improve assigned processes.
• Maintain workstation to 5S standards.
• Perform all work according to Company safety standards.

Requirements

• Ability to use common measuring equipment, optical comparators, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
• Collaboration and communication skills related to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to read blueprint reading skills to GD&T standards.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform basic shop math functions.
• Eligibility to work with sensitive controlled data and materials according to customer policies and practices.
• Regularly lift up to 10 pounds. Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for long periods of time in manufacturing environment. Twist, kneel, bend.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Wages commensurate with experience, starting at $17 per hour with $1.25 3rd shift premium. We offer day-one benefits for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage. We also offer 13 paid holidays, 24 hours sick pay, and two weeks' vacation.
